Yes, indeed, that worked beautifully, and what a talented parrot Mr. Groucho is. I love the Dead Parrot Sketch -- though maybe not QUITE as much as before Clyde came to town -- and Cleese is my favorite Python. What kind of parrot is Groucho? I don't remember if Cleese said and I don't know enough to recognize any of them on sight except Quakers. laugh.gif

Me too, Siobhan (love that name!!). I remember the sketch from before I loved parrots, and am embarrassed to say it still makes me laugh!
I'm thinking Groucho is some sort of Amazon, (but being new to birds, I can't tell you for sure!)
I have had a funny experience with a Yellow Naped Amazon (named Lobo). I walked into the bird store to visit my baby, Seamus, and I came eye-to-eye with this beautiful bird! I wasn't expecting this! I was a little startled, but Lobo says, "Hello!" I just blurted out, "hello, what a beautiful bird you are!". Lobo then spreads out her gorgeous tail feathers and says, "thank you"!!! OMG! We all started laughing and Lobo starts laughing just like her owner! It was unbelievable! These are brilliant creatures!

Thanks,
Patty

I can't tell for sure, but I think Grouch is a Yellow Naped Amazon; but most definitely an Amazon

Yep he's a Yellow Nape all right. You can finally get a good look at him at the very end of the video.
