Just wondering how long will it take my little qp to go in his happy hut?? or shall i put him in and hope he doenst fall out?? or due i just wait till he finds it?? i thought maybe if i place him in he will kinda find it but i dont want him to scoot out and break his neck.. or i should wait he will find it on his own?? he is now just exploring his toys and different perches but he does favor one or two perches so far.. thanks foryour input.....

Morgan would not even go near his for about a week. When he finally would touch it, it was to pull a bit of fluff off the outside, or sit on top of it. About 2.5 weeks later, I looked over and said "where is Morgan?", a quick search revealed he had finally went inside.
Now he goes in there anytime he wants a bit of alone time, take a nap, or go to sleep for the evening.
The only thing that is funny is he stays in there backwards, the one I have has one closed end, and he keeps his head at that end. So he walks in straight, and backs out....kinda funny.
Anyway, don't give up, but it may take a while.

I just put it in and waited! It took Kiwi about a month, so don't give up. I did put a perch on both ends, he sometime uses the hut to get from one side of the cage to the other like a tunell!:)

I made a similar setup like Trogers with the happy hut, put two perches on either end. However, I went alittle further and put a treat in there every other day.
After 10 days, Rufus slept in there and started using it!

Elliot never did adjust to the happy hut so when we got Spree I gave it to her. It took her about 2 days to detroy it (one of those fuzzy ones) I got nervous that it would be dangerous so I posted on a different forum. A lady on there sent me one of her huts that she sells for free so I could try it out. Spree has not been able to destroy it yet. We love it! Here is a description of the dangers (those are my pics she used) and then a link to her huts.
