Full Version: Normal Baby Behavior?

I just brought home my 3 month-old Quaker baby and I'm wondering if one of his behaviors is normal baby behavior. About half the time I have him out, he'll make a purring/clucking type of noise (hard to describe- it's deep in his throat and sort of rumbly) and shake his head at me. I've looked online and haven't found anything that really references this. For some reason, I feel like he's trying to feed even though he's completely weaned and eating pelleted food. Anyone else have this sort of experience with their Quaker?

HELLO, I AM NEW TO THE SITE AND FIND ALL THE STORIES INTERESTING. ALTHOUGH I AM NEW TO THE BABY QUAKER, WE HAVE HAS ONE BEFORE.
MY QUAKER (TOBY) IS 12 WEEKS OLD THIS WEEK. THE ONLY NOISE HE MAKES IS GRINDING HIS BEAK. I LOVE THE SOUND, I HEARD THAT WHEN THEY DO THIS IT MEANS THEY ARE CONTENT. UNFORTANETLY SINCE I JUST GOT HIM ON 7/23/08 WE HAVE YET TO REALLY BOND. SO ANY HAPPY NOISE HE MAKES, MAKES ME HAPPY. rolleyes.gif
