I loved the bird fair this past Sat, got some neet toys and a great cage w/playstand and a manzata playstand, but the cutest thing i got was Boomer while over looking at the B and G's and CAG's this little boy kept reaching out and pulling on my shirt sleeve so i reached up on the playstand and he climbed onto my hand got under my neck and just nuzzled so tell me how could i leave him there, I could not so meet Boomer 16 wks old, any advice is greatly welcomed, he is such a sweetie

Oh wow!! Boomer is gorgeous! Congratulations! Best advice I can give is stimulation. Greys are so intelligent! They love foraging toys, things to shred and puzzles. Rocky has a puzzle ball, it takes him 5 minutes to take it apart, piece by piece...takes me 20 minutes to put it back together! LOL We hide treats in different parts of his cage and he has to hunt for it, he loves it.

Of COURSE you couldn't leave him there. Obviously he chose you to be his person and he looks very much at home already!

Every last one of that vendors birds were just soooooo sweet and adorable.

I got to hold and pet several of them, after I saw someone buying a grey and loading it up with a tree stand. That must have been you. You are so lucky. You are just going to love your new bird!!

BTW - I was the one in the black apron, working the concession stand.

Hi Gail, wish I would have known that, I would have loved to have met you. That was my first fair and I must say I am hooked lol and Boomer the little guy picked me, I was standing by the tree he and another was on and he kept leanin over and pullin on my shirt and when I picked him up he snuggled up under my neck, no way could I leave him. So yea that was me,I got Boomer, tree stand and a huge nice cage, lots of toys and perches and treats, guess you could say I went wild lol, I loved it can't wait till the next one, but someone will need to tie my hands, as my house is fillin up, but for our feathered angels, there is always room for one more
