well i have never had a quaker but i have seen birds and had parakeets and i am seeing something that doesnt seem usual. sometimes my baby quaker (about 3 mos old) shakes his head up and down kind of like nodding yes, but super fast. its more like a vibration than a nod. is he just playing or could something be wrong? is it from being scared? also what are signs of being scared?

I am new to quakers myself, but I believe what you are seeing is the "quaker shake", which is quite normal in quakers, and especially the little ones.
It usually means they are hungry, but can also mean they are excited.
So if your baby is eating/pooing just fine, he/she is probably just happy to see you.
Enjoy...

It's very normal for Quaker babies to do this, they usually outgrow the behavior. Don't worry your baby is fine

Yep, he's quaking. That's where they got the name.
