hi i have a 8 year old baby quaker named squirt. I was ju8st wondering if it is normal for him to always want to be in or on his cagae or anycage for a matter of fact. squirt will alow me to hold him and stroke his head but as soon as he see a cage whether it be his or tuki's he will go to it and not want to be bothered with at all. any help would be great thanks.

Yes it is!!!!! Mine does the same..that's why if you want to pay attention to you to teach him games or talking you must put him in a room away from his cage....
so he can not see the cage and can concentrate on you

Mine isnt really like that with his cage but he is like that with my living room curtain pole! we get great success with training or cuddle time lying in bed in the bedroom with him! infact he turns into a kissing lovey dovey baby in bed haha

thanks all but he seems to bo coming around a bit more not so eager to go to his cage as much lately, she is becoming more effectionate everyday i love this little bird, and now she is slowly trying to talk but thak you all for your help.
