This is a cage similar to ours except ours is black. We originally bought off ebay nearly 10 years ago (and it was a nightmare...my only negative. The seller lied constantly and took nearly 6 weeks to ship it and then had the nerve to say I was impatient!) It is starting to develop small spots of rust where the paint is coming off so we need to get our two cockatiels who live in it a new home. The door is usually always open and the birds are free to go play on the top (with all the toys and ropes up there) or not as they choose. I am pretty sure it is 20x20x60....I know it is square, in any event.

I would like to replace this cage with something a bit larger for them. I was looking at this cage to replace it (after I convince my husband that we need a new cage the same month that we are bringing home a new bird) This one has a removable playtop and it is 32x30x65. With shipping, it is about $175. I think this would be a great cage for them so am looking for something similar, if not this one. I would prefer a light color (like shown)

That is a great color along with the sand color. I think the lighter colors tend to look overall cleaner than the dark. I have a black and a dark grey color also. And I like the platinum and the sand colors best. Great looking cage by the way. I prefer ones like that . i like the seed guards aND the flat top cages.

I am glad you are getting a new cage... We have the same one for Spree and it is just the worse cage ever! Ours came with her when we won her in a raffle and a new cage is on its way. Have fun setting up the new place!

Wow, I really liked the cage we originally got for Piper (now long gone) It has been a great cage but after nearly 10 years, it is developing rust spots.

This is the cage I ended up getting for Mist and Equinox. It should be here next week! Then I can set it up for them, this will be fun!

Oh I bet they will love that! It's a great looking cage.

We usually have members looking for cages, could you share the link where you purchased it?

I got it off ebay, the seller is wpic-trading.

I usually refuse to bid on items that are the incredibly low price with shipping being super inflated. I know the seller is doing it to circumvent ebay fees and it is irritating. I did use the seller in this case because I think it is a great deal on this cage. I notice they charge a $120 local pick up fee if you are local.

Someone posted a very similar cage from bird.com It is nearly the same dimensions (the one on bird.com is a teeny bit bigger) but it doesn't show the playtop can come off.

I got in the new cage for my 'tiels today! I always see FedEx in the neighborhood in late morning yet this didn't get delivered until 7:30 pm. It was pretty easy to set up even though some pieces didn't match the directions. It took us about 30 minutes to put it together. We didn't put the seed guard on it since we use material behind the cage anyway and I sweep numerous times where they stay during the day.

Right now, Mist and Equinox are not exactly thrilled with their new cage and casting dirty looks my way. I think they will eventually like it.

lol just like kids huh? Get them something they should love and oh no they bust our bubbles! lol

The cage looks great, they will settle in and realize its the Taj Mahal of bird cages and then get royal attitudes lol
