Hi,
Because of my work loads I am being forced to try and rehome my friends. It is just not fair to not have the socialization they require for their health and well being.
I need to rehome my quaker named Q and my Fishers lovebird named Flasher. They are best of friends and I will not separate them. They preen each other and feed each other. They both have their flight feathers clipped on a regular basis but if allowed to grow out they are fully capable of flight. Their respective cages will go with each one and a tree stand is optional.
Q is 2 years old and I have had him since he was weaned.
Flasher's age is unknown, we adopted him when we found him in a bush two Fathers Day a go outside of church. We tried to find his owners with no success.
He is so named for his or her bare breast. He has plucked it and it just won't grow back now. He is not step up trained but once captured is fine in your hand. He at times will sit on your shoulder and be content. But he just prefers to hang with Q.
Both birds are let out of their cages early in the morning and spend the day on their tree stand and in and out of each others cage. Come 8:30pm they are both ready for bed.
We have a Maltese puppy so they are both used to being around a dog.
I am asking a rehoming fee of $250.00 for both birds with their cages. Tree stand is negotiable.
I am located in a south suburb of Chicago.
Email me or call if you want pictures or more info.
Thanks,
John
