Oh, my! What a happy birdy he must be! That cage is HUGE for him and he'll have all kinds of room. He looks a bit bewildered by it all.

The cage is the one our Alexandrine was in until we bought the HUGE one for her and cleaned this one up for Mickey! I agree he looks lost in there, he LOVES the boing though! I have seen him eat a bunch of mixed veggies a few beans, a bite of rice and literally ONE mini of Roudybush lol I havent seen him drink yet but I have TWO water bottle and TWO bowls of water in the cage along w/ a dish of pellets, a bowl of pellets and a sprig of millet! I had the veggies, beans and rice in there but of course I couldnt leave them in there long because of spoilage!!

What a lucky Mickey! I love the name too CUTE bird, look forward to more pics...

nice cage! i also have the coconut thing and im trying to teach ross to sit in it, but he wants nothing to do w/that..he does like to put his food in there..haha

I love the name Mickey! Very nice cage and I am sure he is a happy little guy. You blue boing is cool, Mollie's is only a plain brown sisal one LOL!

Thank you all! Mickeys coconut is so far his favorite thing to play on and in! He chews the fiber off the top of it, and sits on top and sorta swings around!

His cage is a California Cage, I have had it for YEARS lol His boing I bought at a bird show last year, I bought it for the green cheek but never used it so I put it in Mickeys cage! That is the only boing we have, do all boings have a place on both ends to secure them? I have it secured top and bottom in the pitcures but now I have it side to side and he crawls around on it and looks like he is on a roller coaster lol
