I found one on craigslist and was wondering if anyone had one and how you like yours. Are they friendly, playful, can most family members hold them..... From what I have read about them they sound wonderful. Also how much do they usually rehome for. The person that has it is his at least his second owner, and he does come with his cage. Though I don't know what size it is.

Try asking at THE PERCH. There are a lot of people there with A LOT of different birds.

I don't Have a Patagonian, but I know someone who does. I think that they are pretty nice as a whole.....I do know that they can be quite loud.

I dont have one but I would LOVE one! That is one bird that I cant seem to get a hold of! There is a lady that works at Walmart w/ my SIL that has one, and I keep BEGGING her for it! They complain about its noise and mess, and I keep telling them it cant be any worse than the noise and mess the Alexandrine makes! lol I was hoping that they would need some money this summer and sell him to me but not so far!

They are beautiful birds! All I know is they can be extremely loud! You might want to PM CaptainQuark, he has two and I'm sure he would be able to answer any questions you may have!

wow how weird. our craigslist has one listed too, posted on the 24th. i had to go check to make sure it wasn't some kind of scam/spam thing. and i was wondering the same things as you after reading it lol.

QTQP4me, That is when this one was posted as well. The person did not put a city only put Texas. Where are you? I'd like to see the ad you found on CL to see if it is the same one.

this one is listed as being in montello wisconsin. basically it says cage and possibly bird included. price is for cage only, no mention of price for bird.

No, not the same ad. I replied to the listing asking some questions but have not gotten a response yet. I'll just have to wait and see.
