We went and bought a boxed pool. One of those that are larger then the plastic pools and much deeper but don't require a pump and you can take it down after it serves it's purpose. You can drain it and refill it for a nominal water fee. Anyway the purpose of this purchase? Not to see me as a beached whale, but to teach the dogs or see if instinct kicks in. Not all dogs know how to swim instinctively. We had a ball. First we did Sassy who well let's just say we need to add a little more water to give her the same challange bear had, but Sassy stood there a sec, then crossed the pool from Mister to me by swimming. Then was Bears turn. I was so scared he would just freak out and sink after all he doesn't even turn six months until the third of August. Well that little rat took off swimming across the pool as if he was born doing it. We let each dog have a couple swims knowing the water was to cold for to much as it was just filled. Tomorrow the water should be much warmer and they can have more fun with me, as we will head out and have a beach day on the porch which is where we put the pool.

Sounds like so much fun! My 4 dogs have NO desire to be in water! Just keep an eye on their ears to make sure they arent staying to moist!

Both my guys love their pool, its not deep enough for them to swim in but the both go lay in it and cool off every day.

I plan to get pictures but we have had over cast skies today so it's not warming up the water for the dogs. I hope to have a surprise of pictures too.

I was just looking at your weight ticker...........if you lose all of that weight, your going to weigh NOTHING. Is that your goal? I think you better change it. Good luck on your weight loss.
