Tomorrow is the big day . I am getting my tattoo, I am using the picture that Angela posted. When its done I will post pictures of it. It will take about 5 or 6 hours to complete. So it may not be posted tomorrow. Depends how long I can take the pain. I may have to do it in more than 1 session. This is what it will look like. It is going on the lower back.

I have been thinking of getting a tattoo of one of my birds too. I have been leaning toward one of my Scarlet Macaw that died last autumn as a kinda tribute. Though I was thinking more of a pheonix with the feather patterns of my lost Dante. I have a large dragon on my back already, so there is also symbological reasoning for balance with the pheonix.

Any way, I love that drawing you are using, I remember when it was first posted a while back and really approving of it !!

You have to post a pic when it is healed. I am finally scheduled to get mine on Mon. I had to wait 3 months for an appt. with a great artist instead of just using anyone. Can't wait to see yours!

It is a beautiful picture. My son is a tattoo artist so he can do some changes to have it really look like Joey. My husband has the Phoenix with the black Rose in it. There was more work done on it since this picture.

all this talk about tattoos is making me want another one. ian is even on board with this decision, compared to the previous 4 body mods i have had.

i know i want the LGC, and i would love to have one of each of the fids individually, but i don't think i have either the funding or the pain tolerance. lol. i also like to have them placed where i can see them, so i'm running out of room

wow that is so nice! Can't wait to see it! You have way more guts than me...I got a four leaf clover the size of my thumb nail! Although I was a good girl trying to rebel a LITTLE bit! I didn't tell my mom for 7 years and when I showed her she laughed at it haha! Good luck!

I liked that design when Angela posted it too. I went in another direction with my ink though.

Very pretty!!!!!! I think Tattoo are cool, but I have one on my lower back and I want to REMOVE IT so bad. It's just how I feel different about things now in my life and thats why I don't want it anymore~!!!!!

If I ever get the money the thing is coming OFF! I had a friend when I was working and she had two on her neck and one on both of her wrist and there was alto of places that would not hire her,because they could see it. One place was the Casino they will not hire her because they could see her tattoo's and even the dollar store even turn her down!

I am not chickening out but I had a very bad night last night I am not really up to the tattoo today. I am feeling pretty sick today. So I am putting it off for a day or 2. I will post as soon as I get it. I will show during and finally shots. With a fever you bleed more so its best to wait a day or 2. Sorry to have you all pumped up but it is coming.

That is such a neat drawing. Who is Angela? I would like to get permission to use that design on something but don't want to do it without an okay. (I want to put it on a My Little Pony...yes, My Little Pony)
