Im taking him in the morning. He is still picking at himmself. It wasnt too bad with putting the benedryl in the water until tuesday evening I noticed he had zeroed in on one spot behind his leg. I had to babysit today so I couldnt take him but did make an appointment. I had tried to fashion a collar for him but he thrashed around so bad I was afraid he would reinjure himmself or stress out an have a heart attack with all he has been thru. So Im taking him back to get checked out. Other than that he really is doing very well. If he would leave himmself alone you couldnt even tell anything had happened to him. I will see what the vet says tomorrow. Please say a prayer for him cause if we cant get this stopped he could still get an infection and die.

Poor Odie, I hope you have some successs at the vet. They are little actors and know how to pull on the heart strings, most birds will adjust to wearing a collar.

You know I love GCs, Kate, so I hope that little Odie smartens up and gets better soon. He's such a beautiful bird.
