He's been fully flighted for about 4 months (or so) now and doesn't do much with those wings. If I leave the room too fast, he'll fly after me, but sometimes he gets off track and will end up in a completely different place then what he intended. At one time, it was hanging off the wood frame on my bedroom door
He's always been a great eater. Ron switched him onto a pelleted diet with fresh foods, and Tiko is on the same diet here. There isn't many foods that he'll turn his beak up at
We still spend every night cuddling on the couch. Me rubbing his head and him soaking it all up. That's my Tiko time and we both love it. Hands down, he's my most cuddly bird.
He likes to move back and forth between his cage and playstand and goes on a supervised walk-about around the inside of the house a few times a day. He also usually spends most mornings hanging out on my bed while I get ready for work. His favorite thing (besides cuddling) is tearing up the newspaper at the bottom of the cage. I've been tossing over the idea of giving him a small box to shred, but I'm kinda worried about nesting behavior.
We went through a bit of a tough phase where he was constantly pulling his water dish out of the holder and dumping it all over the cage floor. I've since switched him over to a water bottle. I'm not crazy about that, as I know he enjoys dunking his food, but until I can find a way to keep him from dumping the water (and for us to still be able to access the water dish from outside the cage) then he'll have to be on a water bottle. He doesn't really seem to mind it though.
He doesn't say any more words (just "Ruby"), but sure makes lots of pops and whistles. We're trying to teach him a few new songs to whistle, but Max seems to be picking them up quicker
Now for the photos...

Ron knows this one!!:
So all in all, he's doing fantastic. Still a huge joy to have around. Having Tiko makes me realize how much I truly love Greys. To me, they are like no other bird.
