Okay, so I have decided to go full-time at Walmart, which is why I haven't been able to update for a while, since it seems like when I am at home, I'm exhausted. My body isn't used to working again yet, lol.

Anyway, another reason, is because it's been a rough few days. Mike (hubby) and I decided that we were going to try to find Anakin (our rescued MinPin mutt) a new home a few weeks ago, so I've been searching for the perfect family for him. For those of you who don't know/remember, we took in Anakin last February so that his owners wouldn't have to give him to a shelter. The shelters would have put him down, because he had SEVERE aggression issues, especially around his food.

We have worked with him since then, and he has come a LONG way, but still had occasional snippy moments. Lately, it has seemed that he's snapped at the kids more than usual, and we deduced that alot of his behavioural problems came from the fact that he wasn't getting near as much exercise as he needs. We don't have a yard for him to run in, he has to be on a chain outside. He would run off if he got the chance, and we were getting notices from the trailer park warning us about him getting out.

Anyway, after MUCH searching, I think we found the perfect family for him. They drove all the way from Wisconsin to pick him up, and he took to them immediately (which is really odd for him). They says he's doing well, and he loves to run in their fenced in yard, so I'm hopeful that everything will work out.

It's been really different in the house without him, but much more quiet without his incessant barking (which of course set off the other dog, and the birds, too.). We miss him terribly, but I think he will be much happier where he is, and that's what matters.

Anyway, just wanted to give a quick hello before I went to work yet again. I hope you are all well.

That's great that you've been working full time... congrats! Sorry you've had to find Anakin a new home but it sounds like he's very happy with his new family.
