When I took the first picture of my Salvia, I went to the puter and took a close look at it to crop it. I was shocked to find a surprise hidden inside. I went back to see if she was still there. Yep, she was pigging out!
This tiny lady was really enjoying breakfast from my blue-black Salvia.

I wish they could have been clearer. I was taking them through a window that is, shall we say, a bit less than clean!

Awwww we to have a Hummer that is staying close by, she is actually drinking from the same plant that you have! The one that is here also loves my Hibiscus plant! I WISH I could get a great picture of ours to show you all!! Also we have the oddest Wasps now, I looked them up and they said that they are called Cicada Killer Wasps! These things are HUGE lol and they have made a mess all around our steps and driveway digging holes in the ground, BUT they dont bother us!!!

Andrea, you are right. You have to move the camera really fast to keep up with those little boogers. They are FAST!

Oh, she's darling! What a wonderful suprise. I never get to see Hummingbirds. I believe I have only caught a very fleeting glimpse of one in my entire life. Excellent capture and beautiful flowers!

Julie, thanks, I love so many things and flowers are really high on my list. Art, horses, birds, dogs, fish and flowers...I have too many passions. I'd hate to make a priority list. I wouldn't know what to put on top of the list.
Claudia, thanks, I have a hummingbird feeder, but the nectar from the Blue-black Salvia must be sweeter than my mixture. They just love it! I mix 1 part sugar and 3 parts water and just heat til the sugar has all disolved, cool it and pour in the feeder. I don't add food coloring. When these flowers are not there, they go for the bottle!

Yes, Janet, just a tiny taste. We're thankful for these little treats, but just think how it will be. If we love these little things like we do, it will be something no words can start to describe!I'll bet God just smiles all over His face when he sees how happy His little creatures make us!
