Do you know how many homes he's had?

Well, I didn't get up quite as early as you and my guys don't get free run, but my finches started chattering at first light. I love that sound. Its so nice to wake up to happy sounds.

Now that I have 8 birds in the house I'm disappointed- I thought I'd get up this morning to read the Sunday paper and drink coffee and have non-stop birdie chattering and whistles to listen to, but it's awfully quiet around here! Boo (quaker) rarely even flock-calls! The tiels are molting, so I they squeal every now and then when they preen and hit a sensative spot, but other than that they're pretty quiet. the foster grey says hello to himself, makes the nextel beep noise, and water gurgling, but most of the time you wouldn't even know he's here! Same for the senegal and green-cheek conure. Thank God for the parakeets, at least they chatter and sing for me happy.gif

That's great news. I hate to hear when an older bird has had 10+ homes.

haha I wish my quaker would stuff a feather in it sometimes and be quiet lol.. once he wakes up he chatters non stop... alllll day i love it about 99.5% of the time lol but it can get a smidgen annoying if i'm in a frazzeled mood and cant hear my own thoughts lol...

right now well actually for the past couple of weeks he repeats "nice to meet you" ......alllll day and raises his lil foot in the air while saying it.. too cute lol
