So, he's not plucking his feathers. He's decided he's a feathered tweezers. I have a few little hairs in my chinny chin chin, and he's made it his mission to pluck them. ohmy.gif He started this project last night and I must have more than I thought I did because he has continued it this evening and nothing will dissuade him. I offer to pet him instead and I get nipped. I try whistling his favorite song and he'll answer once to be polite and then right back at it he goes. I try to move him to my shoulder instead of my hand and he reaches under or crawls down onto my chest so he can go back to work. I do NOT have THAT many. mad.gif While I do appreciate his efforts on my behalf (and I'm considering having him do my eyebrows next), I would like to play a different game OCCASIONALLY. rolleyes.gif Perhaps I should hire him out as a personal grooming assistant. How much should I charge? laugh.gif I'd split it with him, of course. tongue.gif

I think he should pluck your chin instead of him plucking himself. That is my opinion, but then I have no experience with a plucking bird. Thank Goodness!

He doesn't pluck his feathers. He preens, but as soon as he finishes he goes at me. laugh.gif Whatever plucking tendencies he might have are all devoted to Mommy.
