The vet recommended Harrison's for my quaker. Has anyone here tried that brand of pellet?

Yes! That's the only brand Twiz has ever eaten. He gets that and China Prairie sprouts and carefully chosen people food.

Yes Our vet also recommended it. Milo and Nibbles both like it. Read the bag it has some good information on it.

Yes. I had been feeding Zupreem's and got some Harrison's for my birds recently. It was dated to be used by March '09 but it smells old. I gave the birds some thinking surely it was not old with that date on it, and they tried it. Bo ate some. Kiwi wouldn't touch it. Bo plucked his chest. I didn't give them an more and he hasn't plucked any more.

I'd like to send some of it to Twizzy's Mom and see if it smells like it should...she will know how it should smell.

I ordered some Roudybush and they are eating that. They look better and Bo's feathers are coming back just great! Roudybush is higher but it seems to be great for the birds and they like it. I think they were getting a bit tired of the Zupreem's

OH...welcome to the group.

I emailed harrisons and asked them to send me a sample...the birds LOVED it!! It wasn't enough to start converting them to it but I will probably order more smile.gif
