Decided to catch the little snake today. He had pin feathers all over his head. I decided I would help him out a bit. He hadnt had a feather trim since they had grown out so I had to corner him to get him. So I also gave him a trim. I wish he liked to be held and be sweet like some of the ones I have read about. But he just never has taken to it. He never bites once he is out of the cage but if you give him any chance he will fly away. He is a cutey and he talks. Just not much of a lover.

Thats the bad boy alright. To be honest I havent done much with the camera. But that isnt the prob. I just dont know how to put them on here and havent had the time to try to learn. I will though. I think im beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. smile.gif

Ive had Itty Bitty Bird for maybe 2 years now. I tried really hard at first and did get him to step up some but he didnt really want to. He would fly away every chance he got. I finally just kinda gave up. He has a great personality though and he does talk. He only bites when you are getting him out. Once he is out he doesnt. You just cant release your hand from around him or he will jump off and crawl under the nearest thing possible. Yesterday he got under my dresser. I had to get a yard stick and gently push him out from under. Little terd. laugh.gif

Kate, this lady on my parrotlet list did some videos of a new parrotlet she was training to step up and how to stop cage agression. They are really good videos and might give you some ideas. With parrotlets as with most its a matter of daily lessons and persistence (and with parrotlets sometimes lots of bandaids)
