No one ever came forward to claim him, so he's now a part of our flock. We've got him in quarantine still, but every once in a while Wallace will hear him, and they've started calling to each other.
I do have a question though. On one of his feet the very tip of his toe is brown (you can see it in the picture) and he doesn't seem to grip as tightly with this foot. Does anyone know what this could be? or if there's anything I should do? Could it be a previous injury? We will be making a vet trip soon, but I have to fit it around my work schedule.

He is a pretty little feller. smile.gif

I'm not really sure what the brown spot could be, the picture is kind of blurry so it's kind of hard to tell... seeing has he's been out in the wild etc. a vet check is very important as you don't know what he could have picked up. wink.gif

He sure is a cutie wub.gif poor guy has quite the overgrown beak and long nails! I'm sure the vet will trim those though.

Congrats on adding him to your flock! Please keep us posted on his vet visit!

Poor little thing, he is gorgeous though, it could be a old injury that never healed properly, but budgies are very adaptable and he will proberbly be fine, I had a budgie the same colour off course called skye as well, Im glad he has found a loving home with your family. wink.gif
