I hadn't seen my grandson (10 years old) for 2 years and he moved back here a few weeks ago. He has spent the week end with us twice, this past one being the second since they moved back. He has never paid much attention to the birds before, but he wanted to carry them around and play with them all the time. I was afraid they'd have no part of it, as they usually will not go to anyone but me. Heck, they took to him like a duck takes to water! He loved every minute of it and so did they.
Another thing that tickled me...Kiwi has always talked when HRH was in the room but never would when I was in the room, but tonight after I took the granson home and came back in, she talked up a storm. I hope this is a permanent change for her. I was absolutely in shock!!!!

Yea----Go Kiwi-----we just never know what all these little feathered butts are keeping frorm us....surprise! surprise!

I know, Julie. Just when we think we know them well, they have more shocks for us. It would seem silly to a non-bird person to know how much each little thing they do thrills us, but oh my, they are so entertaining and just fill our hearts to overflowing!

They often come through for us just when we least expect it.

How true that is Buddy, and you'd have thought it was a human baby taking its first steps or saying its first words if you could have seen how thrilled I was!

These little chickens are so silly and we are so crazy and I wouldn't have it any other way!
