You should see the battle that is ensuing between Sassy and my squirrel. I always put peanuts on the sill of the window and on the ground. The squirrel waits until she thinks Sassy is sleeping. Sassy gets to the window sill in two seconds no matter what part of the house she is in, when the sound of squirrel toes scraping the window comes forth. The squirrel backs off the food about 10 feet from the house then sassy goes into protection mode and barks until the squirrel is out of site. This goes on all day long! It's hysterical!

It seems you should have BIRDS to be a Senior Forum Assistant. Sorry I couldn't resist!

I bet Cheryl will have a house full of feathered ones again someday. But until that day comes these adorable little yorkies sure are keeping you (and us) amused

Maybe by that time I will be healthy and things will be fantastic as there could be one more bird in my future- no more rescues it's to addicting to take in the worst of the worst and see them go to the best they can be.
