Is this a good enough pellet and seed for him? I feed him the cockatiel little pellets. (The parrot ones are still too big)
He took to it right away. I want to get him on the best one I can.

Hagen makes very good pellets. smile.gif Him liking them in the most important part! biggrin.gif We used to mix the Hagens and Zupreem and eventually Casey got to the point where she would eat all the Zupreem and refuse to eat the Hagens so we just stopped offering them. We still buy the Hagen Tropimix for the occasional treats though (I wish it came in a smaller bag! blink.gif)

I've heard from someone who used to test different pellets that Hagens were one of the best, but I've also heard they spoil faster so just make sure you store them properly and don't offer more than he can eat each day (usually between 1 to 2 tbsp)... once they go bad they smell really really bad, and loose their fruity smell. wink.gif

Hagens is one of the top brands of pellets out there. I feed the tropicana lifetime granules to my flock. All my birds get the Cockatiel size (you'll notice there is a photo of a Cockatiel and Quaker on the bag).

Hagen's offers free samples, so you could always give them a call and see if your bird likes them before going out and buying a whole package.
