Tried some Lafeber's samples today on Pretty Boy. He tasted some and then promptly spit them out. Won't go near them...lol. Guess we're going with Hagen- at least for now.

Would that be Hagen life time granuals (they smell like jucie fruit chewy gum ) Yum !! i think they are a good brand adn my boys like them as well as Roudybush crumbles ..Both good brands ...

We toss in the Hagen "parrot" sticks for variety in Kiwi's Zupreem pellets and he loves em.. likes to carry them around the cage with him..

Maybe you could try mixing in the samples with the Hagen's and Pretty Boy may "accidently" sample one and decides he likes em!

Yup I toss a litte bit of zupreem pellets,in his dish, under the Hagen life food every day, but he just spits them out. Haven't tried Roudybush yet but will be buying some soon to see what he thinks of that.

Unfortuneately, your birds decide on their own what they like, S0 hopefully yoy will find something soon that your quaker likes!

Well I'm ok with sticking with Hagen but just want him almost totally off the seed. We are about halfway there.
