1yr old Meyers Parrot needs new home soon. I start nursing school in less than a week and will no longer have sufficient playtime with her. She's a sweetie and deserves lots of love and attention. Over $800 has been invested in bird, large cage, toys, perches, and other extras, but for an excellent home, I'd be willing to let her go for half that. Thanks, Sandi! Her name is Rafiki ("friend" in Swahili). I'm not actually positive if she's a girl or not because she hasn't been DNA tested, but I like to think of her as female. Unfortunately, I'm already in a huge time crunch due to school prep and will be even busier by next week, so I can't really take time out to drive her out to anyone. However, I'd be happy to show her to any potential new "mommy or daddy".

Thanks for the suggestion, Lisa The no funds thing is quite prevalent of late, and unfortunately, I find myself in the same circumstance. I'm putting myself through nursing school starting next week and am unsure about how the finances will pan out, but the Lord always provides for my needs, so I know it will work out in the end.
