I am trying to change my avatar... I uploaded my pic and it shows the pic in the change my avatar setting but when I put update it say error pick a file. Not sure why it just does not change??

I see the new avatar ..??? just right click on the old picture and refresh..

Yea, there it is but it was not there last night when I was trying to post it. Boy, I must be seeing things or loosing it in my old age. I may try the avatar you made me and hope it goes okay.

Yep it works but I had to right click on it and refresh before the new one came up..

Yeah! I thought I was going crazy because it seemed to work but I was not seeing it. I am not the most computer savvy person but I will give it a good try. Also I have a Mac laptop which I just love but it does operate a little different than regular laptops with windows. Anyway thank you again Majj for the sigy and the new avatar I love seeing all the pets together!!

When you open files from the internet (web pages, images, etc.), your computer caches them so it won't have to download them from the server the next time you open them. That was somebody's wise idea a long time ago to make surfing faster.

The AOL browser is particularly bad about holding onto files in the cache (Just one of the many things AOL is bad about).

With Windows, you can force it to download from the server by holding down your Ctrl key while you refresh. I don't know about Mac.
