I'm doing fairly good. Just broke up with my husband a few days ago. Let's just say it was a... erm... very unhealthy marriage, and I did what I needed to do to protect myself by sending him home. It's been a big adjustment... I went straight from my parents house to being married so I've never entirely been on my own before.
Andrew (QP) is doing good, he just turned 8 on August 10th.
All of the other animals have died off, except 3 fish. Once I settle in and have some spare money, I'd like to adopt a really big rabbit. See, I don't wanna mess with having a cat at the same time as a parrot, I know it can be done I just don't want to do it haha. I can't really have a dog right now because of the expensive pet deposit I'd have to give the real estate, and my yard is only fenced on two sides. So I'll just rabbit-proof my house, and find a really sweet full-grown litter trained rabbit up for adoption, and let it run around while I'm home to supervise. Then I get the company and the fluffy loveability of a little dog or cat, without the worry with Andrew or the problems with the dog. Voila, problem solved. >=D Yay!
Oh yeah, just a few weeks before breaking up with my husband, we signed a 12 month lease on a house. >.< Yeah, a house which I now can't afford. But I'll make it work somehow cuz I love this place. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a den, a dining area, an awesome kitchen, a garage, and a nice sized front and back yard... $725/month. LOL something like this back in New York would've been out of this world in cost. Here... it's nothing. The second bedroom is my office/bird room. Love it!
Anyways. I guess that's about it. Overall, I'm doing pretty well... just adjusting, really. So, lol, hi. *waves*
