Peanut was sqwaking high pitched, LOUD....non stop for about 5 minutes... none of the typical things to get him to stop worked...so I finally walked over to his cage and jokingly said "If you don't stop I'm gonna break your little birdie beak" he stopped, and said "Whaaaaat?"

i started laughing and he laughed with me then said "good boy"

Aaaw Peanut---you are funny little one...I know the excitement and joy you felt when he said that....
I use to call my son up at work back when Harley started talking...I was thrilled to no end to hear what he would say....
So look out, Peanut may get on a roll..... Thanks for sharing....

That is hilarious!!

He already says quite a few words and phrases... I just wasn't expecting that one, it gave me quite the chuckle.

Hi Peanut, Step, Good Boy, Gimme Kiss, Thank you, Whatcha doin, hiya birdbrain (thanks to dh), C'mere, Sophie, Koda, Wantsome?, Amber, Bye bye, Whaaaat?, Hey, Quit, Stop it, No bite, Pretty Bird...

most of which are when I'm out of the room LOL

I got him in December, and he was approx. 6 months old... so about a year?

What a little clown. Honestly, I think they stay up nights plotting stuff like this. I've been trying to teach Clyde to say "I'm a good bird" (not that he is, , he's a STINKER -- and he can say THAT just as clear as a bell) and he refuses to even try it. I think he doesn't want to lie.
