hello i do not have a quaker parrot but i really like them and will definately get one sometime in my life, so i am just here to get some first hand information and good advice and stuff like that. I would get one now but i am in highschool and i read they are bad pets for people still in school, so i just have to wait dry.gif

Hello !! and welcome to the group..Well if you read up on these cute little fid (feathered kids) you will be well and truely prepared when you finally get your little guy, thats a very good thing to do..feel free to ask any questions you want on the forums relating to your topic..We do have forums for other pets without feathers so if you have a cat /dog/rat/ferret or fish feel free to post about them on that forum too..Don`t be shy join right in and once again..

Twig Braker, what a very smart thing to do...especially while in school....doing your research on quakers/birds will have you very much prepared when you are able to get your friend....

Welcome to the board and even though you don't have a bird yet, just ask your questions and I'm sure you will receive some well informed replys.....

well actually i have had birds my whole life pretty much, but right now i have a budgie and a cockatiel, but i have always dreamed about having a quaker. so thanks for the welcome i will get as much information as i can while i am here smile.gif

Well then your not a complete novice are you , we have a general Bird forum you can share pictures and stories about your other fids if you want many of us here have other birds as well as Quakers....
