Sorry a bit of nonsense really, but I just had to share

This morning I had to grumble at my dog, every couple of seconds he was jumping at the window and barking like mad at anyone who dared to walk in the road and every time I moved he would dash past me nearly knocking me over to get outside first , well what do you expect from a Border Collie , it was just this morning it got on my nerves as it was more than usuall, after grumbling at him, he got the sulks big time, he did come and sit on the sofa next to me, but curled up as small as he could with his back to me, so after a few minutes I started to feel guilty and put my arms out to him 'come and give mum a cuddle' I said and he squashed himself in the corner of the sofa even more 'don't you love me any more Jacko' I said to him in a sad voice, he just sighed heavily and moved his head even further away when all of a sudden from his cage Bijou churped 'kisses for mummy' and three kissing noises, I laughed so much it cheered Jack up, I got my cuddle and a couple of kisses from him

Oh what a wonderfully sweet story! Thanks so much for sharing. It really choked me up though b/c I had to put one of my beloved dogs down yesterday. I am completely grief stricken. Hamlet sounds a lot like your Jacko. He would actually snub me when he got his feelings hurt. It always made me laugh...so endearing.

NixPack - I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your pup. It is the cruelest part - knowing that they can't live as long as we do. But our lives are so much richer for having known them.

Christine- Border Collies really hold a grudge when we hurt their feelings don't they?

Last year, I was in the hosptial, for surgery, I ended up staying for almost a week. When I came home, my male BC, popcorn wouldn't talk to me for two whole days!!
