Hi my name is Tammy & I am new to all this bird stuff. We bought a cockatiel a couple of weeks ago & just loved him so we bought another one that wasn't very nice & we are trying to tame her. My friend suggested that since we seemed to love birds so much that we should check into a quaker. We did & fell in love with him so now we have three birds & 2 dogs. I have been reading the posts on this site & I believe that everyone here is genuine and completely in love with their birds also. I look forward to talking to some of you & learning as much as I can.

I have also been reading books and everything else I can find on the subject of birds. I am really glad I found this site.

I have a tiel too and a QP and a Sun Conure. They are like potato chips....hard to have just one.
