Well as promised...Corky arrived on Saturday. He is thin and very nervous/cage territorial (even for a Quaker).
He was either kept in a garrage (noise level) or hung out in a tree most of the time...unknown age/gender and very poor food as his feathers tell me.
He is in a new cage with new toys and perches and he LOVES his food dishes...BirdyButtsUpTime is exactly how my husband describes breakfast and thats all we could see of Corky the last couple days...soon as I put a bowl in his cage...head down in it and 'BirdyButtUp'
He does talk and I'm sure will be saying quite a bit more after being with my Flock...I was listening this morning before I uncovered his cage and he was saying "CorkyCorkyCorky" very softly over and over...if I clap my hands he will say "GoodBoyCorky" over and over as long as I clap...
I am misting him everyday with Georges Always Aloe and he enjoys that...was scared at first but pretty soon was dipping his head and spreading his wings and turning this way and that...soaked to the skin...my husband commented today that he looks better already...
I'm adding a pic from Saturday...Jo and Corky
