Nessie
My cat Tyrone is scared of a little bird happy.gif
our Nessie (Qp) was introduced to him when she first moved in and
he was not impressed with her. At first she pecked nose, then she moved
to his ears, and then she pulled at his whiskers!

Every time I show Tyrone the little birdie or if he gets too close to her
cage and she sqwarks at him he will turn tail and run! seriously who'd have
thought that the bird could pull one over a cat? Now the cat will have to say
I thought I saw a bittiebird!

lol

boogie yells at the cats
sometimes for no apparent reason - maybe she just doesnt like what theyre doing
but they respond better to her yelling at them than they do when i get onto them
go figure

shes never bitten any of them
from the first day here her squawk was enough to get the point across

wasabi doesnt seem to care about the cats all that much
he fiddles with their fur like he is preening them
i dont trust them around him though
they appear to be way more interested in him - maybe because he is like 1/3 of the size of boogie
i dunno

boogie will yell at the cats if she doesnt like what theyre doing in regards to wasabi
last night when i was putting josh to bed boogie started loosing her mind
i figured she wanted to go to bed
i came in here and wasabi had jumped onto the floor
the cats werent in here at the time but boogie thought this was unacceptable and wanted to let me know about it
so funny

My Nessie girl is learning fast, even though she has been on a little holiday
at my other halfs parents place... she heard us talking about Tyrone and she
said bad boy! too funny, now poor Tyrone is going to have a complex I'm sure!

your animals sound so cute, I love the little pics you have and cute names!

Please be extremely careful. I thought my cats were afraid of my QP Poco. She lost her life to one of them last week. I had her for nearly 10 years.

I was going to say the same thing about being careful Jenn....thanks for posting it, but I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your baby....
Even though they act like they are ignoring birdie, there is still that predator instinct there...

Please be careful where there are birdies, cats and dogs, ferrets, etc....

i dont trust my cats
at all
they are sneaky little turds

if i even walk into the kitchen with the birds out the cats are outside
which is where they spend most of their time anyhow
and which is another reason to not trust them even more - they routinely bring dead birds up to the door as 'gifts' so i know they have it in them to kill

and thank you nessie...i hope to get it on video, her yelling at the two young cats and herding them like sheep from like 4 feet away
