I found some probiotic cottage cheese! I didn't know it existed, and I'm really excited because I hate plain yogurt. It says it contains acidophilus and bifidus. Pooka loves it too! Has anyone else tried it, or know about it? I'm just wondering if it's actually as good for you as yogurt. It's also 4% milkfat, do you think that's too much fat for my bird? Thanks!

i get the same kind, i mix in jello powder with it and let it sit for a few hours in the refrigerator
MMMMMMMMMM thats good stuff
i would think a bit of cottage cheese wouldnt hurt the bird since i can eat it and i am really, really lactose intolerant
maybe someone will correct me

A little bit as a treat every now and then is fine I think.
I've tried it, I don't like it as much as my regular cottage cheese but I buy it every now and then to take to work for lunch cause it comes in those cute single serve containers. I hate plain yogurt too, and I think cottage cheese is healthier than the sugar filled fruit flavored yogurts.
