He hasnt shown ANY signs of going to preen too much or pick at his side and hurt himmself..YAY. So today we have went one step further and I have put him in his own cage. He has to travel further and climb more. So Im watching closely for ANY signs of fatigue or hurting. Cause if it is too much work ,too soon ,then he might start chewing wherever the pain might be. But he seems happy and content to be back in his bigger home. Maybe hollaring for me a little more cause he is pretty used to me sitting beside him alot. I had him on the bar. I sat there and ate beside him and with him. Read the paper there. Fed him off my plate. But I see no reason why he would have become spoiled to that. smile.gif Ok , Ill admit its my fault. But who doesnt get pampered when hurt or sick. I guess Ill have to watch for separation anxiety, too. laugh.gif I think he will be ok though. If I had thought it was too soon I wouldnt have moved him.

Oh Kate, that is great new. I admit, I feared for his life terribly when he first got hurt and each time you updated I gave a sigh of relief and my heart smiled.

He is so lucky that you were right there, right then and did everything possible for him. He's lucky he had a good vet and that you loved him so much that you cared for him so closely and nursed him back to this point.

You are both blessed to have come through this as well as you have. I am so thankful that he has reached a point where you can breathe a little easier and hope he continues to improve until it is ALL just a thing of the past.

I feel that moving around in his big cage some will give him the exercise he needs to get his strength back and if he needs to rest from it, you will take him back out to be with you. It seems to me he is getting the perfect balance of everything he needs. You are a good Mommy and he knows that!!! wub.gif

Don't stop now. Please keep us updated until all is great and back to normal.

BIG HUGS to you and Odie!
