Here is a picture of the litter that my two baby Gerbils came from. This picture was taken when they weere two weeks old. I finally get to pick them up this friday after waiting for 6 weeks. My two are the lighter on on the top right and the dark one on the bottom left.

aww how cute, we have a hamster that we got from the local SPCA back in May, his name is Jackson and is beyond sweet!

That reminds me of the time that we bought our daughter a hamster. I told the people I wanted a male. My daughter was probably about 8 then. She came home from school and went upstairs to check on her hamster, then she started screaming. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. She came running downstairs and said "Mom" there are these little tiny things in the cage and on the floor. I went upstairs and they were baby hamsters. Needless to say they were cute and very very tiny......LOL.....so much for getting a male hamster..ha ha

Oh yes this to happened to us from Petland about 4 years ago, we bought Syd a "male" hamster and a week later there was 5 babies, next day 3, next day 1, she didnt kill that baby but boy was it hard trying to explain to a 3 yr old where "her" babies were going! I kept thinking see this is WHY I wanted ONE male not a female

My blonde gerbil just passed away 2 days ago. They light colored ones remind me of her. They sure are cute little guys!
