Well, since we got Peanut we just loved him so much that we wanted to get a blue qp. I went & picked one out on Sunday. He/she is just beautiful. We had him/her dna sexed but won't find out for a couple weeks. The bird store that we bought him/her from said they would find out in about a week. I'm going to call them & see if they will tell me when I call. We are hoping for a girl but we really don't care. So far she (that is what we are calling her) is very friendly although she has bitten me once & drew blood. She is supposed to be about 3 months old & Peanut is 4 months old now, but she actually looks a little bigger than Peanut. Is one sex bigger than the other with qp?
It is funny because I quarantined her but Peanut can hear her from the other room & they seem to talk back & forth (or should I say squawk). I don't know how they will get along but I am anxious to see.
I know people on this site say not to get another qp because one is lonely & believe me we didn't. We got another one because we wanted one. I also will try & get my sis-n-law help me figure out how to do pictures. Oh well, thanks for listening didn't mean to write a book.
