We decided to extend our family. Our household now consists of:
* Charlie - blue Quaker
* Axle - Mexican Walking Fish - Golden
* Mo - Siamese Fighter - purple (mauve - hence mo)
* 20 tetra neons aka Dinner (for Axle to chase and munch for lunch)

Heres some pics of the family minus Dinner.

We had one of those YEARS ago, we were told they were MudPuppies! lol

Yeah they have lots of different names hey! Axolotl, MudPuppies, Mexican Walking Fish, Salamander ......

I'm getting very attached to Axle. Charlie is SUPER jealous and swarks everytime I go near the tank.

Now that Axle is a bit more settled, taking Charlie with me to see the fish etc when I feed them.

ohmy.gif Wow neon Tetra's must be cheap where you live, cause they are not here, we would use guppies for feeder fish, and breed them ourselves. smile.gif

Super Sad news: Mo died sad.gif

We checked his water and the pH was right etc, we don't know what happened.

Think Charlie is a bit overwhelmed, he has been plucking his left leg sad.gif there are pins there, so I'm not sure when he would have plucked, but I am so sad that he has done this. Everywhere else on his body is ok.

I forgot to tell you.....

Axle ate his first fish!! So proud of him for actually catching one hehe.

We have been hand feeding him at the top of the tank. He swims up to where our hand is and rests his front feet on hand and eats the meat cubes. He seems very settled already.
