Hi everyone....well I finally got some pics of Pogo...had lots of simon, but had to reduce some so I could post them. So....here they are!! Simon looks so ridiculous in the one after his bath, but I love it!!

I just love birdie bath pics. I am not familiar with Pogo....what breed is he? He is so pretty and colorful.

Your birdies are adorable !! I'm still waiting to get my quaker. and Larry Bird's Mom, Pogo is a black-headed caique. That was my other choice of bird, but i went with a quaker instead.

Oh, that one of Simon after his bath is absolutely classic!! Almost looks like a fish-eye lens b/c his head looks so big and his body is so wet and tiny..then those little feet down there. Haha. I'm just laughing here to myself--but all in a good way. I think he is so adorable. And Pogo is stunning!

Awww...thanks everyone! Yes, Pogo is a black headed caique...and the biggest nut you ever saw! Haha...yes Simon looks like he's got a HUGE head after he has a bath, and he gets so into it too....not one place on his body stays dry, and if I don't stand there while he's bathing and drip water on his head for him, he gets so upset. Quaker's are just too cute!

I feel like a jerk. You're birds are sooooo cute...but.... Pogo can't fly to that ceiling fan that's on in his first pic, can he? I am the Fan Nazi at my house, I don't want to hear that big 'thud' and lose Ava forever. Maybe it's not even on, I just noticed it looked 'blurry' like its on, and I worried.
I love the "after" pic of Simon, Quakers look so silly and cute when they're wet.

Thanks for your concern...always a good thing. No, Pogo and Simon both have clipped wings and cannot get to the ceiling fan...but we don't leave Pogo alone for a second, because he will get into almost everything else, so I think maybe from now on, I will turn that ceiling fan off when he's in here..cuz you just never know, and he glides farther than Simon does. Good call!

And yes...quakers do look hilarious when they are wet....all beak!! We have a birdbath in our yard and the local wild quakers come here to bathe sometimes...nothing like seeing 20 wild quakers fighting over who's in the bath!!
