OMG THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL

...I am soooooooooooooooo jealous...Mmmmmmmmmmmm but I think those big beaks would be rather scary....

The beaks are not as scary as you would think. My TAG bites me harder and more frequently, and he is a well behaved little guy. They can make some noise, but my Goblin the Quaker is a more ambitious screamer and greater annoyence LOL.
When you get a macaw as a little baby and are part of the raising process (not the hand feeding just interacting as they wean) you grow to understand that there is nothing to be scared of your own bird. In my opinion a strange quaker is MUCH scarier then a strange macaw. I am much more likely to try and pick up and play with a macaw then an unknown quaker.
