Hello everyone....it's me Elaine just thought about posting a new add....some people don't read throght the entire post...and get's so confusing sometimes!!!
I want to say that I'm still looking for a forever home for my 4 birds!!! I left NVon a message about giving her my lovebirds pairs (and I would try to keep the Quakers and see if their behavior is better being by themselfs)....not sure yet on her decision.
But in case I can't get them a good home or make thinks work...I will be opening to bring them with me to NYC in Christmas time if I find the right family for them....The fee is $100 for love ones and $300 for the Quakers....please let me know if anyone here have space/lots of love/forever home for my babies......
I can't even imagine that day thought : ( it's so hard already.....
Thnaks everyone,
Elaine

You're just too far from me or I'd be interested.

I'm sorry it's been so hard for you to find a new home for the babies. I'm sure it has been frustrating for you. I am not far from you (Union County) and would consider welcoming any or all of them into our family, but I absolutely cannot/ will not buy another bird....

Way2Bizzy...........Elaine has stated she will waive all the fees ..???
Best of Luck Elaine it must be a heart breaking decission to have to make ....

Sorry Elaine I didn't see your IM, was at my daughters all day yesterday cooking for her Halloween party last night. Since I still have 5 parrotlet babies to find homes for I just don't have the room right now for any more. My bird room is over flowing and hubby isn't happy about it. Good luck finding homes for them.

I know that here in VA ppl are literally begging for ppl to take their birds for free, noone is charging fees near me. I have just this week been asked if I will take in a Military Macaw, a Sun Conure, a African Gray and a Mitred conure. I am trying to figure out where in the world I will put them and how I can find the extra money every month to feed more birds lol

Wow .. wish I lived in Va!! I was eyeing a gorgeous Military Macaw the other day, but way, way over what I could possibly afford. Here in Chicago nobody is giving away birds for free .. no matter how good of a home you can provide. Everyone is looking to get back some of the initial expenses, which I understand, but some of the prices are crazy .. I could get a "brand new" baby bird for what some are charging for older birds that more than likely "need work".

hello.
i am a new memeber in central ny and still working on my profile.
you're in an alful pickle.
i haven't dealt with shipping before and have no idea what it entails, but if you want to discuss it-
i'd open my home to your birds.
maybe i could afford shipping but not a fee. especially this time of year.
while you have them-
offer treats and a mist bath before naptime
it might help a little

sincerely
