We got our first cold snap down here and Satsumas are now in season. My mom has a tree and gave me about 3 dozen!
For those of you who don't know, Satsuma is a citrus fruit somewhere between a mandarin orange and a regular orange,.
I am pretty sure we gave them to the lovebirds last year (no rind and removed seeds first). I know the wild birds by my parents eat them. Would they be okay for Drago?

Well, I never heard of a satsuma, but from what I've read, oranges are ok to give parrots only in moderation because they are so acidic.

Possibly. I really don't know how many other places have them. I would assume that they can grow anywhere in the US that regular citrus grows.
