Clyde has refused to admit he knows any new words for weeks and weeks. He sits in his cage sometimes and practices by himself if he thinks we can't hear him -- little stinker -- but I still hadn't recognized anything new for a long, long time.

I worked late tonight and got home after his bed time, but naughty Daddy had let him stay up, and when I picked him up and asked "How's my Poo-Poo?" (that's his nickname for obvious reasons! ) he crawled up my arm to kiss me and said "Poo-Poo!"

Awww so cute. Yea for him!

It's always thrilling when they come out with new words, even if it's "Poo Poo"

I want my baby to say more words and we keep practicing. Congratulations to you. It is exciting to hear them talk

We must be on a roll. Tonight he was doing his evil Vincent Price laugh and I thought, Christmas is coming ... so while he was going "ha, ha, HA!" I said "Ho, ho, ho!" and he peered at me as if I'd lost my mind (he's not real convinced of my sanity anyway) and leaned forward and gave me this puzzled look and then he said, "ho, ho, ho?" Clearly, it was a question. So I said it again and he cocked his head and peered at me (I could almost see him taking notes to give to the nice men with nets later) and then he said "Ho, ho, ho!" in this very deep growly voice, unlike his usual voice, which made me laugh and then he laughed and said it again! Whoo-hoo. You see he's not only grasped the sound, but the concept of Santa, or he wouldn't have used the deep voice. Now ... does anyone know where I can buy a tiny Santa hat for him? And if you do, how do I convince him to WEAR it?

I'm convinced from reading the posts that Quakers do mess with your mind.
They make you doubt that you have heard/seen what you know you have heard/seen.
Then they look at you in a way that says "i dont know what you are talking about".
If we werent already insane, we soon would be !!!!
