Thanks!! This is the biggest thing I have ever accomplished EVER! It is not something I will ever do again though...lol We couldn't afford to spend extra money eating out every night, so for 2 months we cooked dinner on the grill. Got pretty tired of that. And by the end we were both on each others nerves something terrible! Thank goodness I have a TINY kitchen so things got done pretty quickly, I don't think I could handle it much longer! But it was all well worth it in the end.
I was amazed at how well Ringo did through the whole thing. I thought we would have to move him to my dad's for a couple months, and my dad got disappointed that we didn't have to. lol We did have to move him into the guest bedroom for a week during the tear out because there was so much dust flying. We taped off the vents in that room and kept towels stuck under the door to keep the dust out. Ringo did quite a bit of talking when the power saw was going, and when we were knocking out walls and bulkheads. Anything we did that was loud made him talk like crazy! I tried bringing him into the kitchen for a bath the other day and he freaked out. DID NOT want his feet to touch the counter! I don't know if it's the black counter that scares him, or just the change in the room. Yesterday he sat on the back of the kitchen chair, but that was the only place he would let me put him down. I will keep trying, eventually he will get used to it.
