My Hubby and I were all set to have Thanksgiving and Christmas by ourselves this year. I will be starting my job, someday (long story) and I would not be able to take any time off so going to my daughters house was out of the question. I called her the other night and she said she probably wouldn't be able to come either time.
I just got an email and she wanted to know our address. We just moved here so she has never been here before. I am so very happy!!!
Just had to share......

Fantastic! I'm so glad to hear it. I'm truly touched by that to be honest. I hate having to live to so far away from my daughter, and I'm glad that your daughter is moving coser to you. Let me just wish you guys happy thanksgiving in advance, because I know that this will be one of the best thanksgivings you've ever had, and I want to get as many happy thanksgivings in as I possibly can! so happy thanksgiving!

Im happy you are gonna get to spend some time with your daughter. I know how ecstatic you must be. Im having trouble dealing with all the "firsts" that the remaining family members have after losing a loved one, My MOm. This is my first "holidays" without her. But I know you understand about all those first time experiences. Not trying to hijack your thread.. I do have a point. Im hoping your daughter realizes how precious the times are that you 2 can spend together and trys to make it more often. I know you are gonna have a great day.

What wonderful news! I know how hard it is to celebrate holidays without family. Sounds like there is going to be lots of cooking for Thanksgiving.
