I actually rescued a 5 month old quaker that only has his two back toenails and most of his toes missing. He has adapted quite well actually!! He usually sits on his perch with one foot and holds the side of the cage with the other. He is absolutely a doll though!! His name is Woody and he is starting to talk and he is such a little cuddler. He was hand fed. Anyway.....I'll post pics of him soon!! Crazy thing is.....he likes to pull your hair.....not just the hair on your head, but he plucks hair off your arms!!! OUCH.....lol!

I thought about adopting woody, but I had just gotten duke back and the conures when I had talked to the lady, and I told her that if she couldn't find him a home in a coupleof months then I would make accomodations. I also told her a few ways to go about posting about her two quakers, and I guess she succeeded. I'm so glad to hear that he's got a good home now. How's the taming going with the others?
