This is my first Christmas with my Quaker. I always buy a real tree. Are there any toxic hazards I should be aware of with this? I'm assuming no since Quakers can live in the wild and are exposed to them a lot, but want to be sure.

It may depend on what kind tree, such as fir, cedar and so forth. These are trees that even though native birds can live among them most excotics dont. And then if you buy a real tree ,then it comes from a tree farm. They may have sprayed their trees for bugs at some point. To just have it in your home then it would be safe. But if your bird is allowed to chew on it then I would hesitate.
