So yesterday they said that I didn't fax over the information that I faxed twice. So today I faxed it again, and then called them 20 minutes laters, and they definitely received the information. I thought hooray! finally we're almost done, and I can go back to finishing my site, then I got an email of them asking who my other vendors are for the site, and that blew my mind. I've made it very clear from day one that these people were going to be THE one and only vendor for my site, and for some reason they want me to have other vendors for my site. They also asked how far along I was in setting up my site. So I clearly explained to them that the entire site was ready to go, and that we already had quite a few of their products on the site waiting for the launch before I'll list them as publicly viewable.

My website is just waiting on products to sell. I have the shopping cart set up. I have payment options. I have everything ready, and these people want me to do something that I told them from the start was un-doable.

I have politely explained to them that they are who I am relying to bring the "commercial" products to my site, and everything else on the site is going to be home made items from various people and not other companies. I hope that they understand that this isn't a typical website, and that it will be a lot different from a lot of other bird stores, because eventually most of the products are gonna be made by people, and have a more loving and hand made look then anything you'll find at a pet store.

I have to wait until tomorrow for part 7 of bad news because they waiting until 5 minutes before they closed for the day to drop that bomb on me.

doesn't sound like fun to me! keep working hard amOz and it will pay off
