hi there this might sound stupid but, what does everybody think about putting a indian ring neck and a quaker toghther or is it best for them to stay in different cages. ther next to each other at the moment, and i was just wondering?

I think there would be too much potential for bad things to happen if they were in the same cage.

If they did get along, it's very likely that they would bond with each other and you would become the intruder.

Sometimes it works but most often, it doesn't.

I would be a little leary about putting them together. Do they get along ok when out of the cages? My quaker and IRN do not like each other at all. Either one of them could seriously injure the other or worse. Birds are tempermental and all may be fine for a few days and then someone gets a toy that the other one want then the war starts and quakers have a major temper and don't back down for anything. Use your own judgement but be really careful when putting any 2 birds in a cage together.

I've always been so lucky. Everyone just seems to blend. I have two diffferent cages for them though.
I'll bet you can tell who goes where. wink.gif
